Merry Christmas!

Hey friends! Merry Christmas! Did you have a good holiday?

We’ve been traveling for the past few days. We left early Friday morning to head to Vegas for a little business/fun trip. I shot a wedding there on Saturday, so we took Friday to hang out in Vegas. We saw Cirque du Soleil, (amazing!) spent too much money on a nice dinner, and went out on the town for a bit. Vegas isn’t necessarily my cup of tea, but we had a good time. Nolan and never been there before and I had only been once for work a few years ago. After Vegas, we headed up to Seattle (with a longer than expected layover in Denver) for Christmas.

My husband is from Seattle, and this was my first Christmas away from my family. I was a bit sad about it at first, but it’s turned out to be perfectly fine. I’m so glad Nolan gets to see his family this holiday, as they live up in the Northwest so we don’t get to see them a lot. Where you spend the holidays always seems to be an interesting topic within relationships. Have you guys ever had to deal with something like that?

We snapped some “jumping on the bed” pics while in Vegas- thought I’d share a few with ya’ll. Don’t mind my crazy face.. I was just overly excited…

Anyways, I hope you all had a great holiday and are enjoying some rest. The new year is almost here- can you believe it?? Good things in store next year, I can feel it!

Have a wonderful rest of your break friends!! And Merry Christmas!

  2. Don’t ever stop playing!!! so glad you two are having fun together!! ;)

  3. oh man – i love this post! the pictures and your silliness made me smile so big!!

  4. Great pics! My husband and I just dealt with this for the first time this year. We spent Christmas at my family’s house, and he was definitely a little bummed out at first. It’s hard when the families are in different states, you can’t do the whole dinner/dessert split or Christmas Eve/Christmas Day. We had a great time though and I’m excited to spend it with his family next year!

  5. stop it. this is just way too cute!
glad you had a wonderful christmas with your husbands fam! :)
